For everyone

This is your space. Torah is your inheritance. It doesn't matter what you believe, how much you know or where you come from. The most important thing is that you show up with respect, curiosity, kindness and a passion to swim in the ocean of Jewish wisdom with your fellow learners.

For learning

We offer classes ("shiurim") in various forms taught by local and international teachers. You are also invited to bring a partner ("hevruta") or group of learners ("habura") to our space to learn on your own. This is your house of study.

For empowering emerging leaders

We provide a platform and space for innovative Jewish activities run by emerging and established leaders, facilitators and teachers in our community. From Jewish embodiment programs, to Parasha Club, all are welcome to play and discover.

Beit Midrash Oz is an open and inclusive center for the exploration of Jewish thought and literature, grounded in traditional wisdom and sources.

 

We invite people to bring their whole selves, perspective and stories to the space. We believe the greater the diversity of voices, the richer our discussion and the deeper our learning.
